SUMMARY:MDRA for Charity in Hal Far 2019
DESCRIPTION:This year’s MDRA for Charity event raised more than €12\,500 for the Malta Autism Centre (MAC) on Sunday 31st March 2019. \nLike every year\, it was organised by Mr. Mario Mifsud (aka DJ Banana) of Smash Communications in collaboration with the Malta Drag Racing Association (MDRA) at the MDRA Hal Far Raceway. \nAll proceeds go to the Malta Autism Centre: a non-profit organisation providing specialist services for people with autism. \nAutism spectrum disorder is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder affecting 1 in 100 births. \nThe Malta Autism Centre aims to help these individuals through the different stages of their lives from birth to old age. \nThe Belgian Fry was present at this noble event and hopes to be there again next year\, serving traditional Belgian fries and snacks to Maltese motorsport enthusiasts.
